We at DPS Surat celebrated Makar Sankranti on 13th January 2025, where our
little ones of classes Prep J-L offered a special assembly on this occasion. They
sang melodious songs and presented a skit that beautifully depicted the
importance of the harvest season, community and new beginnings. They also
presented a vibrant and energetic dance that weaves together the festive
spirits of Pongal, Lohri, and Uttarayan. It was a captivating assembly
presentation that brilliantly brought the vibrant spirit and traditions of Makar
Sankranti to life
