We at DPS Surat affirm that teaching children “You’re the boss of your own body” and they have control over who touches their body and how. So, the counselors at our campus led an engaging session with the little ones of Pre primary block from 23rd September 2024 to 27th September 2024 during ‘Safety Week’, to teach them about safe and unsafe touch, fostering awareness and understanding in a supportive environment. They also well versed the children with the thought that saying ‘no’ to any uncomfortable touch is okay. Instilling body safety in children at an early age is essential to make them aware of the boundaries and equipping them with the tools to stay safe.
