The integration of mathematical logic in the school curriculum represents a significant advancement in educational methodologies. On 3rd August 2024, the annual Math Logic festival- ‘Math Carnival’, was organised at DPS Surat. This aimed at engaging the students of Class 2 to promote critical thinking and cultivate a deeper understanding of mathematics.
The event involved a series of activities designed to introduce students to the principles of logical reasoning through interactive and practical applications.
The students and the parents were taken on an exciting journey to the world of Tens and Ones, Addition, Number Combinations and Tables. The theme of this year’s Math Week was ‘Hobby’ and the Math concepts were beautifully woven with the theme via exciting activities like Bingo, Snakes and Ladders, Bowling, Fishing, Puzzles and Shopping.
In conclusion, the ‘Math Carnival’ at DPS Surat enhanced students’ appreciation for mathematics and equipped them with essential skills that are invaluable in numerous aspects of life.
