On 15th and 16th July 2024, the budding chefs of Class 1 showcased their creativity and culinary expertise by preparing delectable ‘Cucumber Fillers’. This innovative culinary pursuit showcased the adaptability of the self-effacing vegetable, ‘Cucumber’. It also offered a delightful opportunity for budding chefs to review the topic ‘Food’ taken in their English class and ‘How Many?-Addition’ in Maths.
The students showcased their fine motor skills by strategically hollowing out the crunchy cylinders. The enthusiastic chefs used healthy and delicious vegetables and fruits like corn kernels, pomegranate, capsicum and tomatoes, as fillers and unleashed a symphony of flavors, textures, and visual delights that captivate the senses.
The exploration of ‘cucumber fillers’ by our little chefs was a testament to the boundless creativity and culinary passion and it was once again proven that the kitchen can be a stage for innovation, collaboration, and the celebration of the delicious.
