‘What we save, saves us. It’s time to save our planet.’ To sensitize the children to become crusaders for environment conservation, The Pre-primary block of DPS Surat celebrated Earth Week from 22nd April to 26th April. With comprehensive activities, each one of them took a step to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. On continuing effort in our daily life will make this beautiful planet thrive. The Pre-nursery kiddos hand painted the flower pots. Intuitive stories were narrated to the students of Nursery and Prep. These little ones also prepared fascinating crafts throughout the week. The Classes 1 and 2 students, too, enjoyed a story session that intended to inspire them to treat Mother Earth with utmost care and give it all the love that it deserves. With exciting games, informative videos and brainstorming discussions, they were encouraged to reflect on what we must and must not do to make planet Earth a more sustainable and liveable place.
