Colour days are always fun for kids. One such day was on Monday, 24 June 2024, when the Pre-Primary block of DPS Surat celebrated ‘Green Day’. The day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. We strongly believe that social and environmental sensitization must be done during the early years so that our children grow up to be dutiful and dependable. Henceforth, they were educated to go green and plant more trees. Taking this belief further, we organized Green Day for our Pre-Nursery and Nursery children and made Green Day all about the colour green! They performed leaf printing activity in the class and made a green frog as a takeaway. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura. It was an amazing learning experience and surely will have a long-lasting effect on our little ones.
