In this hot summer season, our little Dipsites of Pre-Nursery A-E at DPS Surat had a field trip to the ‘Baskin Robbins’ ice cream parlour on Wednesday 12 June 2024 and Thursday 13 June 2024. “Field trips are momentous times in a preschooler’s life. It allows children to spend time outside the classroom doing more hands-on learning.” Our little children’s exuberance to visit one of their favourite places i.e. the ice cream parlour was at its peak. As they entered the parlour, they were beaming with joy and laughter. They were told about the different tastes and flavours we get in ice creams. They were also educated about a few facts relating to ice creams. Children relished their flavoursome creamy butterscotch delight. The field trip to the ice cream parlour was an enchanting experience as they savoured their favourite summer treats. The students had a blast, and they all left with big smiles on their faces. Learning is an enjoyable journey. Sometimes, it can be through laughter and ice-cream parlour.
