Safety is paramount at DPS Surat and we strive to instill this value in our students across all departments. Being vigilant at all times is a prerequisite for safety. Teaching them about safety is crucial for building awareness and fostering lifelong habits of caution and responsibility. Hence, we commemorated ‘Safety Week’ for the Pre-primary students from 23rd September 2024 to 27th September 2024. They were enlightened on various safety domains such as safety at school, safety at road, safety at home and personal safety. They experienced an immersive, live home and road set up, acquiring valuable insights on guidelines to be adhered to, through stories and more. The counselling team at our school conducted a session on ‘Safe and Unsafe touch’ for personal safety. This week underscored its critical role in instilling essential safety understanding among our little ones!
