DPS Surat firmly believes that a good partnership between the parents and the school leads to better development of the child. The input as parents, is quite crucial. Hence, we organized a parent orientation programme for classes Pre-Nursery – II on 26th March and 27th March, 2024. It guided to provide a platform for the parents and school to work out a common future roadmap for the children. It also helped the parents understand the follow-up procedures required to strengthen the learning process of their child. The teachers gave an insight into teaching methodologies and school rules through a brief presentation. It also introduced parents to the communication channels available to stay connected with the school and teachers. They were also briefed about the co- scholastic activities that gave them an idea of the curriculum which is self-directed with hands-on learning activities that not only give students a medium to fully utilize their creative talents and energies, but also help them in their all-round development. The entire programme validated the quote by Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.”
