Delhi Public School Surat

The Class 2 annual picnic on 14th December 2024 to ‘Chokhi Dhani’ was a delightful experience filled with joy and cultural exploration.
On the bright, sunny morning, the students gathered at the DPS Surat campus, excited to experience the charm of village life. The bus ride to the venue was lively, with laughter and songs setting the mood for the day.
At Chokhi Dhani, a traditional Rajasthani welcome with ‘tilak’, music, and vibrant decorations greeted the students. They were mesmerized by the mud huts, traditional art, and colourful Rajasthani attire.
The students enjoyed activities like camel and horse rides, a puppet show, pottery, and other fun attractions. After the adventures, they relished a delicious meal, followed by dancing with friends and teachers.
The day marked a perfect end with a dessert, before the students returned to school, buzzing with excitement and fond memories. This outing brought joy and offered a rich glimpse into Rajasthani culture, making it an unforgettable experience for the students.
