Plants are like friends. They make us feel alive. To experience this liveliness, our little ones of Pre Nursery A to E visited the ‘Greenery Plant Nursery’ on 1st and 2nd August 2024. The primary purpose of this visit was to empower the children with knowledge of plants, to inculcate the love for the environment and to relish the beauty of nature. In the nursery, they witnessed a myriad variety of colourful, aromatic flowers, plants of different sizes, leaves of varied shapes and a few fruit-bearing plants. Their eyes sparkled as they procured a plant, made a new friend named ‘Song of India’ to carry it home and plant it in a pot. They brimmed with zeal to nurture the plant’s growth.

This field trip proved to be an enriching and insightful experience for our toddlers, broadening their perspective on nature.
