On 18th and 19th July 2024, the young chefs of Class 2 combined creativity with hands-on learning and prepared the ‘Dip n Chip’ recipe. The heart of this recipe lies in its simplicity and deliciousness. The curious minds were introduced to the process of preparing the dip right from scratch. The process of preparing curd and hung curd was elucidated.
Hung curd, also known as Greek yogurt, is rich in protein, calcium, and probiotics, making it a healthy choice for dips. Its creamy texture and mild flavor make it versatile for various flavor combinations, making it appealing to young palates. This also provided the little ones, a delightful opportunity to reflect on the Hindi poem ‘Cheenta’.
The colourful dip was full of veggies and refreshing mint paste. The students relished the freshly prepared dip with nachos.
