Diwali is celebrated with immense fervor and exuberance across India. The festival signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. A variety of activities were planned and conducted, embracing the spirit of this joyous occasion. They beautifully crafted diyas (earthen lamps) and decorative hangings as special takeaways. The Pre-primary block was beautifully embellished with vibrant paper crafts and intricate rangoli designs. On 25th October 2024 children arrived in dazzling traditional attire, radiating the festive spirit of Diwali and the special assemblies were presented by the students of Classes Nursery G, H and I as well as Classes 1 E and F. It was a radiant celebration of culture and consciousness. It was an avenue for both mystical experience and the imparting of essential life values. The students participated in skits, dances and musical performances portraying the significance of this festival. They emphasized the importance of saying no to firecrackers and embracing eco friendly decorations like clay lamps and natural rangoli, thereby acknowledging their responsibility to preserve the planet. The littlest munchkins of classes Pre-Nursery to Prep also poured in all their love and affection as they made the Diwali cards and slid them into envelopes to post it at their home for their parents, each with a burst of colour and love. Additionally, the Student Council visited all the classes, explaining the concept of eco-friendly Diwali in the most engaging way, highlighting the message of ‘Green Diwali, Clean Diwali’.
