In a dazzling display of creativity and talent, Delhi Public School Surat’s Drama Fest, held on 13 February 2025, captivated the audience with performances that were both thought-provoking and entertaining. The event, staged at the prestigious Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium, commenced with a soulful vocal and instrumental performance by the school’s budding musicians, setting a perfect tone for the evening. The play “Forget Me Not” took centre stage, weaving a compelling narrative of success, self- reflection, and the importance of friendship. The protagonist, blinded by his own success and affluence, becomes detached from his friends. In an ingenious twist, his friends stage a prank, convincing him he has lost his memory, prompting him to reflect on the value of friendship over material success. With stellar performances, expressive dialogues, and a compelling storyline, “Forget Me Not” struck a chord with the audience, leaving them introspective and deeply moved. The evening was a true celebration of creativity and storytelling, reinforcing the power of theatre to inspire change and self-awareness.
