In an electrifying display of intellect and wordplay, the Inter-House Vocabulary Quiz, 'Ballot Box of Words,' brought the students of Class VII together for a thrilling competition of wit and knowledge on September 6, 2024. Three students from each house, selected through a rigorous preliminary round, participated as a team, competing in a contest that challenged not only their linguistic prowess but also their knowledge of current affairs.
The competition featured three engaging rounds. The first was a word search challenge, where teams had to swiftly locate words hidden in a crossword. The second round brought an intellectual twist with the puzzle challenge, requiring participants to identify state and national ministers from photo puzzles and accurately spell their names. The final round was an audio-visual segment testing both listening skills and quick comprehension.
Spectators were on the edge of their seats, thoroughly enjoying the quiz as they cheered for their favourite teams with palpable excitement. The event exhibited great teamwork, quick thinking, and mastery over words, with each house showcasing impressive skills. The quiz not only enhanced vocabulary but also fostered critical thinking and general knowledge in an entertaining and competitive environment concluding with Unicorn house bagging the first prize.
