Delhi Public School Surat

'Literature Flea' at Delhi Public School Surat proved to be a spectacular celebration of literary arts and cultural exchange. The event conducted on 20 July 2024 brought together a diverse audience of students, educators and literature aficionados from across the classes of 7 to 10. Interactive stalls by the classes of 7 and 9 demonstrated practical skills in various aspects of literature entwined with activities, such as, Grammarly games, Spell bee, Vocabulary riddles, Word wizards, etc. The collaborative corners of the classrooms were well-received for their hands-on approach and the opportunity provided for participants to refine their craft. A dedicated space for games on screen allowed attendees to engage directly with the audio- visual inputs and explore new literary extents. This segment added a vibrant dimension to the event, illustrating the intersection of arts and literature in a captivating manner and also facilitated meaningful exchanges between the participant and host classes. Overall, the Lit-O-Flea at DPS was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended. It not only celebrated the power of words and imagination but also reaffirmed the role of literature in enriching lives and fostering cultural understanding. The participants departed, carrying with them newfound knowledge, inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for the world of literature.
