The Athletics Meet 2024-25, conducted on 21 November 2024 at Delhi Public School Surat, was an energetic and spirited affair, featuring participants from Classes VII to XII.
The program began with the inauguration by the Guest of Honour, Ms. Archana Bhasin, Principal of Delhi Public School Tapi, who delivered an inspiring speech. The ceremonial torch was lit, marking the commencement of the meet, followed by the official announcement declaring the event open. The Head Girl led the oath-taking ceremony, followed by motivating addresses by the House Captains that set an uplifting tone for the day. A grand March-Past kicked off the event followed up by a number of athletic events. The intense competition among the houses kept the excitement alive throughout the day.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were honoured with medals and trophies, presented by the Guest of Honour and the Principal of Delhi Public School Surat, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna. . The Athletics and Overall Championship were both bagged by the Gryphon House with great glory and all the houses cheered for each other in the spirit of sportsmanship.
