Day 2 of DPSSMUN 2024 was marked by four intense committee sessions, where delegates, thoroughly researched and confident, engaged in heated discussions and in-depth deliberations. The sessions took an unexpected turn with the introduction of Emergency Crisis in committees adding a layer of surprise and challenge for the participants.
The day concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony on 24 August 2024, marking the end of the 13th year of DPSSMUN. The ceremony, attended by the Principal, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna featured a captivating musical performance and Prize Distribution, recognising delegates for their outstanding contributions. Awards were given for Country Attire March, Best Committee, and Best Delegate and Honourable Mentions in each committee. Members of the Advisory Committee, Chairs and Vice-Chairs were recognized for their exemplary leadership throughout the event.
Special recognition was given to the Executive Board, led by the Secretary General Vedant Jain and the Deputy Secretary General Pratha Garg, whose tireless efforts were instrumental in the success of DPSSMUN 2024. The Logistics and International Press teams were also applauded for their seamless coordination and support throughout the event.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the Deputy Secretary General Pratha Garg, officially bringing the two day conference to a close.
