Delhi Public School Surat once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence with the prestigious Nalanda Merit Scholarship 2024. This annual scholarship awarded by Nalanda Education Society celebrates the top achievers in Class XII across Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams in the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
The award ceremony, held on July 10, 2024, at DPS Surat, was a grand affair attended by the school Principal, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna, level heads, parents, faculty members, and enthusiastic students. The event recognized outstanding performances, with Stuti Khemani achieving a remarkable 97.8% in Commerce, Chahat Sandeep Aggarwal leading Humanities with 97%, and Rishika Gaurav Khanna excelling in the Science stream with 96.6 %.
Each scholarship recipient received Rs One Lakh along with a memento, merit certificate, and a letter of appreciation from Principal Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna. Additionally, thirteen students who achieved perfect scores in various subjects in the Class XII CBSE board examination 2024 were also honoured with mementos and certificates by him.
In his inspirational speech, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna encouraged students to strive for excellence and uphold the school's tradition of achieving exceptional results. The scholarship recipients shared their journey to success, underscoring the importance of consistency and dedication from the outset.
