The Senior Secondary Level of Delhi Public School Surat organized an Inter House English Vocabulary Quiz ‘Wizards of Words’ for Class XI students on 13 August 2024. The event featured five exciting rounds: Listen and Spell, Sight and Spell, Spin-the-Wheel, Dumb Charades and Riddle Rhythm. Each round proved to be an acid test for the participants' linguistic skills and vocabulary knowledge. All four houses displayed remarkable proficiency, with the Gryphon House bagging the first position, followed by the Phoenix House at the second position and the Dragon House at the third position, respectively. The quiz fostered a spirit of healthy competition while promoting the importance of English and various language skills, in a student's life.
