On 9 August 2024, the students of Class XI A and XI B, visited Glow Green Biotech, as a part of their educational curriculum. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into renewable energy production and sustainable waste management practices. The biogas plant visited is a modern facility designed not only to produce methane gas from organic waste but also to enrich the leftover waste with essential nutrients, making it valuable as manure. Students were given a comprehensive tour of the facility, where they observed the process of anaerobic digestion. The visit reinforced the importance of biogas as a renewable energy source and highlighted the environmental benefits of using organic waste efficiently. It also aligned well with the students' curriculum, offering them a practical understanding of concepts related to energy production, waste management, and sustainability.
