Delhi Public School Surat organized a competition, ‘Beats and Beyond’ on 25 June 2024, for the students of classes XI and XII. This event was designed to nurture the creative talents of young minds and encourage them to think outside the box. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic and persuasive skills. The competition received an overwhelming response from students, who displayed remarkable enthusiasm and eagerness to participate. A total of 12 teams competed against each other. The participants presented their creative skits followed by a rap to a panel of esteemed judges, who judged them on the parameters of creativity, originality, props, costume and the overall impact of the performance. The skits encompassed a wide range of marketing ideas and created awareness about consumer protection.
After a thorough evaluation process, six outstanding teams were declared winners. From class 11, sections 11-H, 11-G, and 11-F bagged the first, second, and third positions respectively. The winners amongst class 12 were 12-G (first position), 12-E (second position), and 12-D (third position).
The event fostered a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration among students. It not only highlighted the student’s talent but also contributed to their overall development.
