An exciting DPSS Science Quiz was held on 20 June 2024 in the school Arena and was graced with the presence of the Principal, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna, and the Level Head, Mrs. Ritu Bhatla.
Science stream students from Class XI & XII participated in this competition. There were four teams and each team consisted of two contestants, one from class XI and the other from class XII. The quiz consisted of multiple rounds designed to test various aspects of scientific knowledge. The rounds included Galileo’s Gambit, Spin the Wheel, Audio-Visual Identification of Scientific Phenomena, and Rapid Fire that challenged the students' quick thinking and recall abilities.
Every round was a mixed bag with questions from different facets of Science, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Questions ranged from basic principles to advanced concepts, catering to the diverse knowledge levels of the participants. Each team demonstrated their preparation and teamwork skills, collaborating to answer questions under time constraints. In the end, the team “Atomic Avengers” bagged the first position. Overall, the quiz was successful in promoting scientific inquiry and academic excellence among students.
