“The reality is that we all are economists. We all deal with scarcity as we make choices and calculate how to ration various items and resources that we consume, produce and utilize”.
Based on the same idea, an activity was conducted on 30 April 2024 for class XI students where they were provided with limited space and a list of animals, which were to be accommodated in the given space. The students were asked to make their zoo with maximum animals. The activity helped the students to understand the economic concepts like scarcity necessitates choices, opportunity cost and economizing of resources.
