The Science Fair - Indigenous Technologies for “Viksit Bharat” held on 16 & 17 August 2024 at the Science Centre, Surat was a vibrant showcase of innovation and scientific inquiry. Organized by Surat Municipal Corporation, the event aimed to engage participants of classes VII-XII in exploring the wonders of science through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations. Three of our students, Aanya Dabi, Vibhor Agarwal and Riddhima Bhotika of class XII science stream participated in this event. They made a working model on “Gravitricity.” Model aimed at exploring an innovative renewable energy system combining floating solar panels with gravity battery equipped with solar tracking mechanism to optimise the energy captured. By providing interactive and educational experiences, the fair not only captivated its audience but also fostered a greater appreciation for scientific inquiry.
