DPS Surat organized an interactive in-house session for Class 5 boys, led by Ms. Janki Ramani and Ms. Saloni Rajput from the Socio-Emotional Development team. The session introduced students to the concept of puberty—what it is, when it begins, and how it brings changes to their bodies and emotions.
The speakers explained the importance of personal hygiene, self-awareness, and emotional well-being during this phase of growth. They shared simple and practical ways to manage mood swings, peer pressure, and self-esteem, ensuring that students feel confident and supported.
The session also encouraged open discussions, helping boys understand that these changes are natural and normal. With expert guidance, they learned how to navigate this journey with a positive mindset and self-assurance.
