Gujarat isn't merely a geographical entity; it embodies a lifestyle, a spirit ingrained in its people. To honor Gujarat's foundation and revel in its profound heritage, dynamic culture and remarkable strides, the junior Dipsites got together excitedly on the sunny morning of 1st May 2024, Wednesday. The students of Classes VI H and J presented the Gujarat Day assembly with the backdrop of characters showcasing various dialects across Gujarat narrating the history behind the formation of this evergreen state of ours. The program started with a tribute to Gujarat by the talented musical choir who lent a lyrical and euphonious mood to the day. The nimble dancers depicted the awesome journey of development of this state, with its all-inclusive sustainable rapid growth. The cultural heritage showcased through Hudo, an energetic dance had everyone tapping their feet and swaying along with it. Any celebration in Gujarat is incomplete without Garba and the apt conclusion to the celebrations with this heritage dance by the students ensured that each and every one was drenched in the spirit of ‘Jyaan jyaan vase Gujarati, tyan sadakaal Gujarat!’
