‘Ganpati Bappa Moriya!!’
On 10th September 2024, the Primary block reverberated with enthusiastic chants as the students celebrated the fourth day of their favourite ten day long festival revering Lord Ganesh. The students of Classes III A and B started by welcoming Lord Ganesh with a beautiful dance performance ‘Ganesh Vandana’. They then educated everyone about the significance of Lord Ganpati in Indian Mythology through a skit wherein they depicted incidents from his life as to where he found his axe and why he is also called ‘Ekdanta’. A mesmerizing dance drama brought forth the story behind why every religious ritual commences with Ganesh Pooja – the Pratham Pujiya and how he got an elephant’s head. The celebrations ended on a crescendo with the singing of Ganesh Aarti and chants of ‘1,2,3,4 Ganpati ki Jay Jay kaar’.
