"The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others."
— Albert Schweitzer
On February 6, 2025, the students of Class VI E hosted a heartfelt and inspiring assembly on Human Rights. The program emphasised the significance of basic human rights—dignity, equality, and freedom—which belong to everyone, everywhere, as universal essentials.
The assembly commenced with a skit that portrayed the contrasting lives of those with and without shelter, prompting the audience to reflect on their blessings and privileges. This was followed by a lively and engaging Human Rights Quiz, where the audience enthusiastically demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of fundamental rights.
A thought-provoking dance performance, Humanity in Motion, stole the show, beautifully depicting the journey from hardship to hope. The program concluded with a call to action, encouraging everyone to carry forward the legacy of human rights champions in their daily lives by practising kindness, respect, and justice.
This assembly served as a reminder that even the smallest actions can contribute to building a fairer and more just world, one step at a time.
