On 20.08.24, the counselling department conducted a session on Stranger Safety for class 3 students, aiming to raise awareness about strangers, safe strangers, and safety strategies. The session featured role plays by Grade III teachers, illustrating different scenarios that sparked discussions among students about identifying potential dangers. A video narration of a real-life incident further emphasized the topic. Students were taught about the concept of strangers, safe strangers, and essential safety guidelines, engaging in activities like true or false and do’s and don’ts. The session highlighted that strangers cannot be identified solely by their appearance and advised children to be cautious about sharing personal information while remaining vigilant, even with individuals perceived as safe. The interactive session allowed students to actively share their insights and enhance their understanding of stranger safety.
