The students of Classes IV A and B heralded the morning of 29th August 2024, Thursday with loads of religious and enthusiastic energy as they presented one of the most loved festivals of children - Krishna Janmashtami. The assembly area was not only adorned with vibrant decorations but also filled with devotional songs, and accompanied by heartfelt prayers. Through a captivating dance-drama, the children honoured Krishna’s playful spirit and teachings of love and righteousness. The assembly also featured a graceful dance performance that beautifully illustrated the values derived from Krishna’s life. A Janmashtami celebration is never complete without the traditional Dahi-Handi event! The students performed the lezim dance and formed human pyramids to break pots of curd and butter, symbolizing Krishna’s mischievous nature. This festival is a joyful occasion that brings the community together, celebrating values of love, devotion, and righteousness.
