Delhi Public School Surat received the Best School Award for the third consecutive year for Khelmahakumbh 2018. The school bagged second position in Gujarat State Khelmahakumbh 2018 with a cash prize of INR 3 Lakh and the Best School Award in Surat City with a cash prize of INR 1.5 Lakh for their outstanding performance in various events. The Principal Mr. P.Vamshi Krishna along with the team received the award from the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani on 5 January 2018 at Bhavnagar. The school was recognised as the ‘Best School’ in the previous two years in the District Level also. The awards provided encouragement to the school to notch up their performance in their future endeavours. The initiative taken by the authorities in promoting sports and nurturing young talents in the country is really commendable.
