Delhi Public School Surat

On the 24th and 25th of April 2025, the students of Grade IX embarked on an educational field trip to the newly upgraded Science Centre, Surat. The visit was both educational and exciting, as students explored three major sections — Khoj, Fun Science Gallery, and the Astronomy & Space Zone. The journey began at Khoj, where students explored an informative exhibit on the COVID-19 virus. They learned about how the virus impacts the human body, the vital role of antibodies, and the mechanisms behind immunity. One of the most thrilling attractions in this section was the Robotic Service Provider, which amazed everyone with its futuristic capabilities and lifelike interaction. Next, the students ventured into the Astronomy & Space Zone, where they navigated through our Solar System discovering their weight on different planets — a creative and interactive way to understand gravity and planetary differences. The final destination was the Fun Science Gallery, home to over 50 hands-on exhibits which brought scientific principles to life such as Newton’s Laws of Motion, Kepler’s Laws, the
Doppler Effect, and many more. This interactive space allowed students to witness the magic of science in action, sparking curiosity and deepening understanding. The field trip concluded with students returning to school brimming with excitement and enriched with knowledge. It was indeed a day well spent in the pursuit of discovery and learning.
