Beginning 14th November an International Kids Film Festival has been organised by LXLIDEAS in schools throughout the country.
The screenings have been arranged in the premises of DPSSURAT as well for junior and middle school.
Films from the world over are being screened for children in this week.
Issues being dealt in these films vary from standing up to a bully to environment sensitivity to creativity & imagination. These films surely bring out the magic of meaningful cinema, creating an impact on the young minds.
Students of Class V and Class VIII were treated to another series of beautifully directed films on Day 3 of the International Kids Film Festival being held in schools all over the country this week.
These included animations from places like the UK, Russia, Taiwan, Netherlands and France, which touched on themes of friendship, kindness empathy and confidence. Indian live action films like ‘Aai Shappath’ directed in Marathi, exposed the students to superstitions that still exist in our society.
While directions like ‘Super Girl’ in English & Hindi encouraged creativity and scientific spirit.
