The students of class XI –A and XI – B visited Sumul Diary, Surat on 20 September 2016, a pioneer in producing milk of different parameters involving fats and SNF to ensure utmost quality. Milk products like ghee, butter and paneer are also manufactured here. The educational trip included observation and a brief explanation of the complete method of processing milk from pasteurization, packaging and finally distribution to different areas in Surat city. They also visited the Quality Control Laboratory where the milk samples undergo various quality checks like fat content, microbial test, moisture content etc. to ensure the safety of the products before being delivered. It was an informative and enriching experience for the students.
