Step 3 Aptitude Test  School Campus 12 April 2024 at 9:00 AM
Aptitude Test detailed syllabus will be uploaded on the school website.
Step 4 Know Each Other Session to meet the Admission Committee School Campus 13 April 2024
Parents will receive an email for the exact time to attend  Know Each Other Session. Both the parents along with the student should attend Know Each Other Session. Parents should bring necessary documents as mentioned in the email.

3. Which board is followed by the School?
  The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
4. What are the school timings for classes XI & XII?
  The school timings for classes XI & XII are 7:10 AM to 12:45 PM.  
5. How much percentage of attendance is required for the student to attend the school?
  The minimum attendance percentage is  75% as prescribed by CBSE.
6. Can admission be granted before receiving class X final board result?
  The admission granted will be provisional and subject to passing class X board examination.
7. What is the criteria of selection for admission in class XI?
  The selection is based on Aptitude Test result.
8. What are the guidelines for filling in the online Registration Form?
  Click here to read Guidelines for Filling in the Registration Form. The details submitted online will be final and no corrections will be entertained later under any circumstances.
9. Are there any charges for registration? If yes, how should I pay?
  Yes, you need to pay rupee3000 towards registration and processing charges. After you complete filling in the registration form online and click submit, you will be directed to a payment gateway.
10. What are the modes of online payment?
  You can pay by the following modes, once the registration form is submitted:
 
  • Credit Card : VISA/MASTER
 
  • Debit Card : VISA/MASTER
 
  • Net Banking
11. Are there any recommended browser and devices for online registration process?
  Yes, Chrome is the recommended browser and we advise parents to register online using a Desktop or Laptop to avoid any errors in entering data in the online registration form. Online Registration using a Mobile Phone or Tablet is not at all advisable
12. Do we need to submit or upload any documents or photographs online while filling in the online registration form?
  No, you don’t have to submit or upload any documents while filling in the online registration form. Once you submit the online registration form and payment of the registration charges you will receive an email with the details of list of documents to be submitted on the day of the Aptitude Test.
13. If, while filling in the form I have missed out on any detail or made a mistake, can I complete/alter that later?
  Once the form is submitted and online payment is made, alterations/changes, howsoever minor, will not be allowed on the Registration Form. The submitted form cannot be retrieved to make changes, hence such requests will go unanswered. It is expected that all information given under ‘Admissions’ module on the school website be thoroughly read and understood, before filling in the form, to avoid any mistakes. Special care should be taken while filling in the details like Name of the Candidate and Date of Birth.
14. What precautions should be taken while entering the student's name, father's name, mother's name and date of birth of the student in the registration form?
  All the above mentioned details should be as per your child's existing school Class X Board Examination Admit Card / Hall Ticket. The details submitted online will be final and no corrections will be entertained later under any circumstances. In case of discrepancy, the details mentioned on the transfer certificate from the previous school will be considered as final.
15. What are the steps involved in the registration for admission procedure at DPS Surat?
  Steps involved in the Online Registration Process are as follows:
  a) Fill in the Online Registration form. Click here to read the Guidelines on Filling in the Registration Form.
  b) Make online payment towards registration and processing fee.
  c) Both the parents along with the child should attend the Know DPS Surat Session virtually as per the schedule shared with you.
  d) Both the parents along with the child should attend the Know Each Other Session as per the schedule shared with you and submit necessary documents.
  e) Appear for the Aptitude Test as per the schedule.
  f) Outstation candidates should write a prior email to Admission Committee This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. requesting to conduct the Know Each Other Session on the day of the Aptitude Test.
16. When and how will I be informed about the date and time of Know DPS Surat & Know Each Other Session?
  After completion of the online registration you will receive an email with complete details of the Know DPS Surat & the Know Each Other Session along with the list of documents to be submitted on the day of the Know Each Other Session.
17. What documents should be carried for the Know Each Other Session?
  You need to carry the following documents along with you on the day of the Know Each Other Session
 

a) Printout / Screen shot of the Registration Acknowledgement Slip

 

b) Student’s Birth Certificate

 
  • Self-attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate (issued by the Municipal Corporation). Birth Certificates issued by doctors/ Nursing Homes/ Hospitals and affidavits will not be accepted.
 

b) Student's Report Card and Class X Board Examination Admit Card / Hall Ticket

 
  • Self-attested photocopy of the Final Report Card of Class IX
  • Self-attested photocopy of Class X Term I Result 
  • Self-attested photocopy of Class X Pre-Board Result

18. If one of the parents is unable to attend the Know Each Other Session or absent at the time of the admission process, will it affect my ward’s selection/admission?
  We, as a school, strongly believe that both parents play a significant role in the growth of a child, hence it is requested that both parents be present at the time of the Know Each Other Session & Admission process. 19. Suppose my documents are not as per the requirements of the school, will I be given some other date to report with proper documents?
  No extension of time will be given to fulfill deficiency in documents sought by the school at any stage of the admission process. The Registration of the candidate will be summarily cancelled in such cases.
20. In case, I do not receive the SMS/email after submitting the Registration Form and making the payment successfully (amount is debited from my card/account), what should I do?
 
  • First, you must check your email ID’s Spam/Junk mail and also ensure that you had filled in the correct email ID and mobile number in the form.   • Registration Form No. (if noted)
  • Name of the Candidate

21. How do I communicate with the school during the Admission Process?

22. If the payment is done twice for the same form, how should I go about sorting out this issue?
  You can send your request at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the proof of payments made twice. Admission Committee will revert to you after receiving the confirmation from the bank.
23. What will happen, if I do the registration twice for the same child?
  We suggest, you register acandidate only once for the online registration process and wait for an email confirmation from the admission committee. If you do not receive any email from us (please verify your Spam/ Junk folders) you may write to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you register second time without waiting for the confirmation, there will be no refund and automatically the second registration will be cancelled.
24. If the Date of birth filled in the registration form is not matching with the documents submitted at the time of the Know Each Other Session, can the Registration form be corrected?
  The details submitted online will be final and no corrections will be entertained later. The registration will stand cancelled if any data mismatch is found. In such cases, refund of registration charges will not be admissible.
25. If I wish to cancel my registration after the payment, will the payment be refunded?
  The registration charges once paid are neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.
26. Can the parents visit the school campus?
  Yes, on Aptitude Test day, interested parents may visit the school.
27. Can the date and time of the Aptitude Test be changed, if we are unable to attend the same as per the schedule?
  No, the schedule of the Aptitude Test will not be changed. We strongly recommend you not to register, in case you will not be able to attend the Aptitude Test on 12th April 2024.

#Provisional Fee Structure of Delhi Public School Surat 2024-25: CLASS XI
Dear Applicant/Parent
As you are already aware, DPS Surat is in the purview of the Gujarat Self-Financed Schools (Regulation of Fees) Act, 2017. As per the recommendation of Supreme Court and the Government of Gujarat, we have submitted our proposed fee structure for the ratification of Fee Regulatory Committee, Surat for further information and approval for the year 2024-25.
As an interim arrangement until clarity prevails in this matter (which is currently sub judice) the following #provisional fee will be collected during the admission process of 2024-25.

*REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE ONE TIME $ AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION   ₹30,000/-
Amount paid at the time of admission is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances, even in case where a student wants to withdraw from the school after having taken admission, or seeks admission in any other DPS.
No fees / charges, partial or full, will be refunded if the said student is required to leave the School during term-time for any reasons.
* Provisional Tuition Fee of Rs. 15,630/- will be collected through NACH on 3rd of every month w.e.f. July 2024.
#*Note: The provisional fee & Heads of fees will be applicable until further directions from appropriate authorities due to the pending final outcome of the sub-judice matter. Provisional Fee 2024-25 is applicable until the final fee for the academic year 2024-25 is declared by the appropriate authority. Difference of amount wherever applicable, if any will be collected/ refunded/ adjusted for every student based on the final outcome of pending subjudice matter. The provisional fee & amount collected under these heads will be appropriated under different / new heads as decided / ordered by the competent authority and School Managing Committee based on the final outcome of the sub-judice matter.
